It is always a pleasure meeting many of you while I'm Campaigning in your Neighborhoods, and at Community Farmer's Market.

I was born in New York, and have lived in Los Angeles, California for many years, in what is now the 30th Congressional District. I attended Ramona Elementary School, Joseph Le Conte Junior High, as well as Hollywood High School, all located in Hollywood, California. 

I attended Los Angeles City College and California State University at Los Angeles, majoring in Psychology.  My career and work experience has been in various fields, working in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment, Education, Healthcare, Business, as well as a Community Organizer.

I have been the Chairman of the Kingsley Drive Association, for more than 20 years, working in my community and surrounding Neighborhoods, to address concerns of Residents, finding solutions to their complains and concerns, as well as to deal with issues affecting our Neighborhoods, Crime, Homelessness, and illegal dumping. 

Working with our Partners, the Hollywood Police Division, Small Business Owners, and various Community Leaders, in order for all of us to live in clean and safe Neighborhoods.
